What a stay order is?
A stay is
a suspension of a case or suspension of a particular proceeding within a case.
স্থগিতাদেশ কি?
আইনে স্থগতিতাদেশ
হচ্ছে একটি মামলার সকল কার্যক্রম স্থগিত করে দেয়া বা একটি মামলার নির্দিষ্ট কিছু কার্যক্রম
স্থগিত করে দেয়া।
What Is Status Quo?
“Status
quo” is a Latin term which means let a thing be in its existing condition. In
Law courts order it as substitute to a temporary injunction where both the
parties are supposed to maintain the status of disputed property in the same
condition as it is found on the suit date.
স্ট্যাটাস-কো কি?
“স্ট্যাটাস-কো”
একটি ল্যাটিন শব্দ যার অর্থ হচ্ছে বিদ্যমান অবস্থায় থাকা। আইন অনুযায়ী আদালত এটিকে
অস্থায়ী নির্দেশ / নিষেধাজ্ঞা (Injunction) এর বিকল্প হিসেবে প্রদান করেন, যেখানে ২
পক্ষকেই বিতর্কিত সম্পত্তির স্থিতি অবস্থা
বজায় রাখতে নির্দেশ প্রদান করা হয় যেমনটি মামলার পূর্বে ছিল। অর্থাৎ ২ পক্ষই মামলা
শুরুর পূর্বে যে অবস্থানে ছিলেন, এখনও সেই অবস্থান বজায় রাখবেন মর্মে অনুমোদিত হবেন।
